Maybe you’re not ready for a recurring service, you just need help with the chore you hate the most. Maybe a Deep Clean isn’t in the budget right now, but getting caught up on a task or room would positively impact your mental health. Maybe you just never want to touch your baseboards ever again.

It’s perfectly human to need a little support. That’s where Helping Hands comes in. Instead of being a flat rate smorgasbord of all the cleaning tasks in a home, we can isolate the task(s) that you’re most frustrated with and take them off your plate.

How it Works

Before the Visit

  1. Reach out to us via our request form. Be specific about what tasks you need help with. If you have a set-in-stone budget, let us know and list your desired tasks from highest priority to lowest.

  2. Send us an email with pictures of the areas you want help with. We will estimate the amount of time it will take to do all of the tasks and/or estimate which tasks we can get through within your budget.

  3. We will text you a quote to approve. You can sign it with your finger- it’s pretty cool.

  4. We will email you a link to set up your client portal and send you an Onboarding email to discuss the logistics of the visit.

  5. We will charge you a 50% deposit and schedule your job.

Things Helping Hands can’t do:

  • Put away dishes

  • Put away clothes

  • Disinfection services

  • Odor Control services

  • Deep Cleaning Checklist in any room

  • Move Out Cleaning Checklist in any room

  • No Satisfaction Guarantee

  • No continuity regarding your technician

  • No Tile and Grout Cleaning

  • Any biohazard cleaning, including bodily fluids from pets

  • Exterior cleaning

  • Home maintenance/repair

How Helping Hands is Different from Recurring Services:

Helping Hands is not designed to replace recurring services, and Good Witch is still primarily focused on providing holistic home and human care through our Weekly and Biweekly services: these services provide us the opportunity to have a tangible and lasting positive impact on your home and mental health. We also recognize that everyone will eventually need to be rescued . Think of Helping Hands as a life buoy and Recurring Residential as the rescue boat. You can’t stay in the buoy long-term

  • Can you do a Deep Clean, Move Out Clean, Grout Cleaning, or Odor Control job for this price?

    No. To make this service budget-friendly, we had to exclude services that require specialty equipment, advanced training, and/or our most expensive chemicals and supplies.

  • Can you do this service every week, biweekly, or monthly?

    No. Recurring services are only available to clients who have booked a Residential Weekly or Biweekly Cleaning package. We enjoy helping you get unstuck, but we remain primarily committed to holistic home care.

  • Do I need to be home while you clean?

    You don’t! In fact, we prefer if you are absent from the areas we are cleaning. We often work with families with young children and we don't want to inadvertently spread colds or flus! Please plan to visit at the end of this service so we can show you our work.

  • Can you use my chemicals or equipment?

    No. To use your chemicals would pose a safety risk to our technicians and is an OSHA violation. For the same reason, we only work with equipment that has been properly inspected and maintained per OSHA standards.

  • I have a specific budget. How do I know I won't get charged more?

    Let us know the budget and list your tasks in order of priority. We will complete tasks in that order until we reach the amount of time represented by your budget. We will not exceed your stated budget without your written consent.

  • Does this service come with your 24 Hour Satisfaction Guarantee or Security Deposit Guarantee?

    It does not.. In order to make this a relatively inexpensive option that can fit within a specific budget, we can't guarantee to also complete everything to your satisfaction. No one is that magic.
